At the recent Annual General Meeting David Hambley and Dougie Groome were elected as Chairman and Secretary/Treasurer respectively. Both are long time members of the club with a wide range of aeromodelling experience. David is a Free Flight competitor having success throughout the UK. Recently he has taken up Control Line flying again relearning the skills he had at the beginning of his career. Dougie is a one time Free Flight flyer but now concentrates on Radio and Control Line.

The Annual General Meeting of the Dunfermline Model Aero Club will take place on Thursday 10th November 2016 at the Royal British Legion, 60 New Row, Dunfermline. KY12 7EF

I have been asked to book our usual venue of the Royal British Legion, New Row, Dunfermline. For our next club meeting.  This has been done for next Thursday, the 1st of September, at 7.00 for 7.30 pm start.   Looking forward to seeing you there.

The club is organising a flying and static display of all types of model aircraft on the South Lawn of Pitencrief Park (the Glen) Dunfermline. Flyers from all over Scotland will be attending to give displays of Control Line flying. Also Radio Controlled Quadcopter (drone) flyers have been invited to give displays of FPV racing.

The events will be run over Saturday and Sunday  (10 – 11 September) all are welcome at no cost.

Dunfermline MAC members are heavily involved in the running of the SAA Home International on 21/22 May.

This event will be hosted at the club CL site in Inverkeithing. Two days of competition will take place during which three person teams from England, Ireland,  Scotland and Wales  will fly the F2B aerobatic schedule over five rounds. The schedule will be scored by four judges from each of the competing nations including Bill Greive from Dunfermline.
